Thanks to all who came out to book club last night. It was loads of fun; you girls are a crack up! I'm excited for our next meeting and book. I LOVE Halloween-

There's a list of books we've talked about posted on the side of the blog. Do you guys want me to remove any of these? Or just add the ones we've talked about in past meetings to the current list?
Is there any better way to manage book club and the blog? Do you guys even think this is worth keeping? Seems like we don't use it that much anymore. So I'm just wondering your thoughts on this.

June 3rd Meeting

Hey everyone! Yes we are still on for this coming Wednesday, June 3rd. My address is:
610 N 400 W #H, Centerville. It's pretty easy. Just take I-15 North to the Centerville exit. Turn Right off the exit, go east till you get to 4th West and turn left at the light (by the Dairy Queen). Go north on 4th west and turn right at the Pineae Gardens sign. Take the first right and our condo building is the south building that faces east. We are on the 2nd floor just up the steps. Call if you get lost. Is anyone coming from the North?

I don't remember who signed up for refreshments. Does anyone remember? If not, I will plan to have something here.

Have you decided if the book we discussed for our next meeting (Goose Girls) is actually the book we are going to be reading? Just wondering.... I need all the time I can get. Hee hee.

So I'm not sure if we decided on a day or even month for our next book club. If we did, I was so not mentally there. I will be honest and tell you all that I have not made it very far yet. How is everyone else doing? Should we shoot for sometime in April? Did we also decide on who is hosting? I do remember I'm leading the discussion, which will be really sad if I don't even read the book... Good luck to you all!

Feedback and This Month's Book

Hi ladies,

How is everyone? I miss seeing your smiling faces and reading books with you! I miss it so much I am starting up a book club here in Cali. Our first meeting is tomorrow-Monday (well, today actually since it's almost 1 am! Yikes! Guess I should hit the sack. But first....).

In light of my second book club (obviously the Burton Babes are the BEST, and #1 in my heart), I was just wondering what you all think of the blog. Do you like it, use it, etc. Do you think it's a good way of communicating, or is email just easier? Also, what do you like best about the book club? What things are you incorporating in the meetings that you like?

Also, what is the book for this month? I can't seem to find the info in my overflowing inbox. If someone could post and let me know that would be awesome. I am trying to stay up with you guys, even though I don't post about the books. I'll try to be better, so I can feel involved.

I live in a townhouse in the Glencoe community, which is just off of 1300 W and at about 5900 S. If anyone needs help getting to my house the night of our meeting, please call me! Okay, so I looked at my calendar and talked to James...I think the best date for me to host the meeting is going to be January 28th. It's a Wednesday night. What does everyone think of that? Would that work? If not, I could host the 30th (but that's a Friday night), or Saturday afternoon, the 31st. What do you think? I think the 28th would be great!
